Venture Crew 997 in Ashburn Virginia is a high adventure group for men and women who are 14 years of age (or 13 years of age and have completed the eighth grade), who enjoy experiencing the outdoors. Venturing is a part of Boy Scouts of America, but no previous scout experience is necessary to join in the fun!
he crew meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm at St. Theresa’s school to plan monthly activities. The Crew members and adults plan the activities for the upcoming months. Some of the activities the Crew has enjoyed include rock climbing, back packing, camping and tubing.
